Senior Home Performances
January 22, 2024
After more than 3 years, we were finally able to return to Tudor House and Woodland Courts in Selkirk to perform for the residents. Both the dancers and residents had a lovely evening.
East Selkirk Malanka

For the first time since January 2020, East Selkirk Malanka returned!! Thanks to our Sister Ensemble, Troyanda, we were excited to return to perform alongside them again. Intermediates performed Dubotanets, and Seniors performed their Character Polissia.
Annual Family Christmas Party

Our Annual Family Christmas Party is always a hit! We were a full house at the Selkirk Friendship Centre this year, and our dancers enjoyed performing for their family followed by a visit by Santa, and a late lunch with desserts.
Dance Manitoba Showcase
November 26, 2023
We had the honour of performing at the showcase put on by Dance Manitoba! We were part of a cast of over 100 dancers from across the province. Our Intermediates performed their Hopak, and enjoyed watching Hip Hop and the wide variety of dance talent.
Voda A Rusalka Story

Our friends at Rusalka Ukrainian Dance Ensemble in Winnipeg hosted their 60th Anniversary show, and a group of our Senior dancers were able to participate with other dance camp members!
Folklorama: Ukraine-Kyiv Pavilion

Our Junior, Intermediate and Senior dancers were excited to return to Folklorama and perform in all 3 shows!
Beausejour Heritage Days

We were excited to be invited again to perform at Beausejour Heritage Days! Every class participated and had a blast dancing outside in the sun. We also made it into The Selkirk Record!
Summer Dance Camp

We held our Annual Summer Dance Camp with over 20 dancers! We had a blast learning new dances as well as learning the connection between the Metis people and Ukrainian immigrants in the book “Kohkum’s Babushka”.
Mackenzie’s Wedding

Our Intermediates had the honour of performing Hopak at our Artistic Director’s wedding in May! We performed alongside our Sister Ensemble, Troyanda.
